DEAD BATTERIES CAN LIVE AGAIN FOR MANY YEARS

I just spent over an hour writing all about bringing dead batteries back to life and how the technology is here. I unfortunately did something wrong and lost my article.

Basically I am looking at one possibly two companies with some amazing technology that will rejuvanate your old car batteries, solar batteries, fork lift batteries and even smaller batteries such as handheld tools and toys.

This process can keep batteries living well past their expected life cycle and we all know that batteries don't ever seem to last as long as they should. So what if you could get 10 or more years out of a battery would that be worth paying half the price of a new battery and keeping them out of the dumps, recycling centers and worde yet dumped on the side of the road?

Since I don't have a form to just enter your name and email up yet. Please drop me an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and I can keep you informed.

Also if you want to talk more about the technology or maybe get involved on Maui with helping to get this going write me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let's talk story.

P.S. I have used it on batteries that were over 15 years old and would not accept a charge past 7 volts. They now will come up to 12 volts again!

Wind-The goodSmile, BadYell, BeautyInnocent and UglyTongue out

With everything comes something good and bad, take the good with the bad, you can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need or so it seems when we look at the debates around wind turbines.
By the way the windmill is normally a water pump and a wind turbine is an electrical generator.Just something I picked up at a class lately and looked up online using Wikipedia.
With all the discussions, especially on Maui and in Hawaii, Wind is considered an important Resource and with our normal Trade Winds, this is rightly so.

As Maui moves more towards an mindset that includes renewable energy, we find that there seem to be many people interested in achieving energy independence and yet with the economy and real estate market such as it is, it is hard to find moneys to move in that direction. I have taken a number of classes on Maui, spent literally thousands of dollars to attend meetings on the mainland to try and get a grasp on what the future holds for the energy section only and all I can tell you is that all though it has been done successfully elsewhere, it seems like on Maui and in Hawaii, we seem to be trying to reinvent the wheel.
