WalGreens Labor Practice on Maui

After having passed by a group that was protesting the building of the new WalGreens Store in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, I finally took some time out with my Grandchildren to talk to the people doing the protesting ad here is a video I put together. Mark Lossing, the Field Representative for the Hawaii Carpenters Union flew over to Maui from Kailua Kona on the Island of Hawaii to help man the information booth.

They were set up on the side of one of Maui's busier streets, Puunene Avenue, outside the location where a Pizza Hut used to be and has been a local hang out for the many homeless people on Maui. The old Pizza Hut building was torn down and now WalGreens is building there.
